Planning for the Week

I've had all these things bouncing around in my head that I would like to accomplish this week, so I'm gonna join with my friend Lindsey and blog my plan for the week. Maybe I'll even update it to let ya'll know where I'm at with it. We'll see. :)

First Goal: Begin the habit of getting up at 5:00am. I was doing 5:30am but that really is not quite early enough (and truth be told, it hasn't even really become a habit) for me to get a good workout in, have ample quiet time and be ready to wake the girls at 7:00am. They say it takes 28 days to make a habit, so here's to day 1!

Zone for the week: Master Bedroom
Declutter the closet and bureau, make a clothing inventory, wash the windows, detail vacuum.

Start reorganizing the kitchen a little at a time. I've been trying to come up with a new plan for the kitchen to make it make more sense as to where everything is and I think I finally have some good ideas. It will take a little time, so I'm just going to do this as time allows the next few weeks and if it's not done by the time I'm in the Kitchen Zone, I will finish it then.

Maybe "fallify" the house, on a budget of zero dollars. This should be fun. :)

This is of course besides all my other "normal" stuff. I'm expecting a good week. :)

  1. I hear ya about getting up at 5 in stead of 5:30. We we started our morning school wake up routine the 1st of August I started getting up at 5:30. Put in a load of laundry, unload the dishwasher and have my time with the lord. My time with the lord was great but by the time I pryed my self from his amazing presence I would get only half a workout in before it was time to get the kids up at 7. last thursday I got up 30 min early at 5 and It made the biggest difference . It was nice to get a whole workout. I though I let ya know as an encouragment if you don't feel like getting up at 5 that I'm with ya. I wanna be like Dan from the conference and get to the place where the lord is gently waking me at the right time with no alarm how wonderful would that be.
